| OVERVIEW 2 |
It has been one been one 400th of 2000 years since I devised an abstract design for the Tilt Motor, based on a mere coffee cup rolling at a cafe--- I have hopes that the idea and the manifestation can become a perennial classic of human thought processes; It may be that when someone realizes that my devices work, automobiles with combustion engines will seem like primitive walking fire-places; I began my efforts with the view that "not all is hell in innovation and design" and indeed I still hold that view; Someday I would like to write a book about Volitional Mechanics, my theory of perpetual motion; But before the book has a market, someone should bulid the Tilt Motor, the Trough Leverage Device, Repeat Lever Type 2, or the Motive Mass Machine; As I've said here already, one complete 400th of 2000 years has already passed since I thought of them. That means that not much happened before that time. THE OLD POEM While they were floundering he was pondering: "No more wandering through the dark tunnels of grim determination No; its time to grow in a thousand folded folds For which we need an infinite fuel" E TERRAPIN You can read more about potential loopholes in PERPETUAL MOTION THEORY To examine concepts using the theory, see PERPETUAL MOTION CONCEPTS You may also view my hierarchical list of PERPETUAL MOTION TYPES To offer criticism, commentary, or observations to the inventor, please e-mail me at contact@nathancoppedge.com This webpage was begun in August 2006. MY PERPETUAL MOTION STORY NATHANCOPPEDGE.COM "THE MEANING OF PERPETUAL MOTION" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "The seekers after perpetual motion are trying to get something from nothing." --Sir Isaac Newton Since life is something from nothing, I see no alternative except to pursue the perpetuation of motion. If we are all thieves, there is no gold. Not to sound childish, but what is the point (i.e. substance) of an idea if it isn't true? Physics is a means to an end, and nothing more.~1 An ambitious and all- encompassing end, but an end nonetheless. Certainly the idea of perpetual motion is humorous, but it need not be absurd. If the future is for machines, machines are capable of more (energy) than humanity can conceive. I see no future without free energy. NOTES 1. I recently found a quote from Aristotle that confirms this view: “All that we do is done with an eye to something else.” Aristotle was known as a naturalist. Maybe it is only sophistical to translate this view in terms of physic's own causality. |

| The Laws of Volitional Mechanics: 1. Momentum is possible without force! We know this because a round object can roll upon a slope 2. No energy input is required for motion 3. If motion is possible without force, and momentum is possible without force, then force is not required for perpetual motion! If force is 1-dimensional and slope is 2-dimensional, then momentum must have force or slope; With zero slope, momentum can exist without force; If force causes momentum to either side of a sloping figure (positively and negatively), it does not cause force in the center, instead it merely causes momentum; Thus when slope is perpetuated, momentum may be perpetuated without force |
| <---- NOTE: According to Newtonian physics this is impossible, but it may be based on an assumption; See the consensus at Yahoo Answers for comparison; I issued an ongoing response at: Yahoo Answers feel free to submit a response yourself. In my definition velocity is not necessary for momentum, instead momentum is the 'mass force of potential or actual motion' The exceptions to velocity are that energy can be negative behind an object, and mass can have zero velocity with energy that does not come from the fission of atoms, in the case of slope In the first case momentum is the force that is not negative or positive; In the second case potential energy may have force that is derived only from momentum, not an input reaction, as physicists seem to assume with slope; |
